A couple of years ago I was told by a friend about this drill that he has been using. It is the Hitachi DS18DFL 18 Volt Li-Ion Cordless Drill. I was so accustomed to my old power drill which was plugged in with an extremely long wire, but when I heard about this one I had to try it myself and I haven't looked back ever since.
This Hitachi cordless drill is any man's and woman's dream. It has a ton of
18V Cordless Drill Drivers Manufacturers, with over three hundred and fifty inches / pounds of torque. The batteries in this drill have lasted since I bought it approximately 2 years ago, and they don't show any sign of dying down. The DS18DFL drills very quickly, it revs up to over one thousand to twelve hundred revolutions per minute. The drill fits right in the palm of your hand and is extremely light. It probably weighs under four or five pounds.
It made drilling so simple. I finished the work on my shed outside, which had over one hundred screws, in about four times as fast as I would have with my previous drill. Even when it ran out of charge, I was able to charge the battery pack in about thirty minutes or so to full capacity, so it was a nice built in lunch break. The drill is a bit expensive at around one hundred fifty to one hundred seventy five dollars, but it is well worth the power that it brings.
